香港影星成龍獨在 推特 (Twitter) 上替菲律賓警方緩頰，馬拉坎南宮對此感到窩心，
也希望其他香港民眾也能像成龍一樣，體諒菲律賓政府。
成龍在推特 (Twitter) 上以英文寫著，他願意在巴士挾持事件鬧得沸沸揚揚之際，
向菲律賓人伸出友誼之手。
他指出，「香港是多元種族的社會，別擔心，我們沒有憎恨。」
他說，「如果警方一開始就擊斃挾持者，人們會說，怎麼不先談判？
但如果警方先談判，人們又會問，怎麼不早些殺了挾持者？令人難過。」
推特 (Twitter) 上還寫道，「這樣的事總是在世界上發生，它發生在香港人身上，
全香港都在討論這件事，真的很令人難過。」
菲律賓總統府發言人陳顯達（EdwinLacierda）今天在記者會上說，
「謝謝你，成龍。我們希望香港的民眾也能像你一樣，向我們伸出友誼之手。」
陳顯達呼籲香港民眾冷靜，並且保證菲律賓政府會盡全力協助受害人的家屬。
他說，「我們對悲劇也感到哀傷，請體諒我們的處境。」
